Connect your S3 buckets with an IAM role
Blob storage exports and External Media Storage can assume an IAM role in your AWS account instead of using stored access keys. Available on Enterprise.
Langfuse can now access your Amazon S3 buckets by assuming an IAM role in your AWS account, so you don't need to store long-lived access keys in Langfuse. You can use it for:
- Scheduled blob storage exports to Amazon S3, configured in the UI or through
PUT /api/public/integrations/blob-storagewithauthType: ROLE_ARN. - External Media Storage, which renders
s3://media from your own bucket in traces.
Access keys remain supported and are the default. IAM role authentication is available on Langfuse Cloud Enterprise and on self-hosted Enterprise. Self-hosted deployments also need LANGFUSE_CROSS_ACCOUNT_ROLE_ARN set.
