Big news this month: Langfuse has joined ClickHouse! On top of that, we shipped the Claude Code integration, corrected outputs for annotation workflows, and kicked off the Langfuse v4 Beta.

Langfuse joins ClickHouse

Langfuse is joining ClickHouse. For you as a user, nothing changes — our roadmap stays the same, we continue to build the best LLM engineering platform together with our community, and we remain committed to open source and self-hosting.

What does change is our ability to move faster. With ClickHouse behind us, we can invest more deeply into performance, reliability, and our roadmap that helps teams build and improve AI applications in production.

Claude Code integration

By using the Langfuse Claude Code integration you can capture your Claude Code conversations and send them to Langfuse. You can monitor user inputs, assistant responses, tool invocations, tool inputs and outputs, and more.

Corrected outputs

You can now add corrected outputs to traces and observations, making it easy for domain experts to capture what the model should have generated. View diffs between original and corrected outputs, and export corrections to build better datasets. This is available in all tracing views including Annotation Queues.

Langfuse v4 Beta

Over the past weeks, we have been working on the next generation of our data model and infrastructure. We are aiming for major performance improvements to scale Langfuse for our largest users that track many billions of events. If you are running on Langfuse Cloud and performance is currently a bottleneck for you, we would love to consider you for early testing — reply to the newsletter to let us know!
